Description

A fabulous quality mid 20th Century Regency style mahogany desk in the manner of George Smith, the top having a black leather writing surface and ebony line inlay, the front of the desk having three frieze oak lined drawers with original brass knobs, above two pedestals with panelled cupboards opening to reveal two oak lined pull out trays in each pedestal, with ebonised lion monopedia corner supports with large brass rings, the desk decorated with ebonised moulding, the back of the desk as like the front but with faux drawers and cupboards, supported on moulded edge plinth, lovely quality and fine veneer. Circa 1950.
