A stunning antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1870.In remarkable overall condition, retaining it's original water-gilding which has an attractive contrast between the burnished and matt gold leaf.
Original mercury silvered mirror plate in near perfect condition and offering a wonderful overall sparkle, very atmospheric.
Original boarding backing and hanging plates.
Sizes 142 cm tall, 132.5 cm wide at base, 115 cm wide at top.
