Fine Antique Mirrors

Description

A very fine and well proportioned antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1860.
In stunning overall condition, retaining it's original mercury silvered mirror plate in near perfect condition, only a small amount of foxing to the extreme base of the plate.
Frame water-gilded using 23.5 carat genuine gold leaf, offering a wonderfully mellow feel.
Original backing board and ebonised plinth rail.
Sizes. 179 cm tall, 159 cm max width base, 136 cm main frame width.
