Extra large antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1860.
Frame beautifully executed with bell flower decoration, centered at the top of the frame and trailing down each side to the base.
All water-gilded to the very highest of standards using 23.5 carat genuine gold leaf.
Stunning original mercury silvered mirror plate with a wonderful overall sparkle to the silvering and some minor foxing.
Original backing board.
188 cm tall. 144 cm wide at base. 141 cm main frame width.
