Description

This is a rare item indeed. It is a vent from around 1900 possibly a little earlier. It came from a large house in south Manchester. This would make a fabulous talking point in a bathroom or kitchen and could easily have a modern electrical extractor fitted. We have cleaned off the old paint and it is ready to be refinished in your own choice of colour or indeed leave as is. It has brass trims as can be seen and shows 'Darrah patent' on an original plaque. The brass fist handle opertes the open and close and a label comes in the window to indicate this position. On the base is the section that would sit into the wall to vent to the outside. As already stated, 'its rare' and in super condition.
