This mahogany frame is a really lovely example. A headboard converted from the back of what must have been a truely impressive sideboard. The wood is in about as good a condition as it could be with hardly a mark in the last 150 years or so. The upholstery is excellent but we must point out there is a mark. We have tried to show this as well as possible in the pictures. We have not tried to get it out, it may or may not remove. There is no cost included here for the upholstery or fabric so if you can get it out it is a wonderful buy. The upholstery otherwise is excellent. It is for a 6ft bed being 178 wide on the uprights and 205 on the outside of those impressive scrolls. The carvings are really good and all crisp and sound. We know this cost a few hundred pounds when done for the client but it is availlable today for just £185.00. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
