SAMPLING THE PORT. A good coloured engraving by C Boucher after a painting by Walter Dendy Sadler, an English artist born in Surrey in 1854.
This is a typical example of his work and it is signed by the engraver but also by the artist himself. This was in 1907 some 16 years before his death in 1923. There is a gallery label on the rear to authenticate. This engraving is a good size with a very tidy frame, it boasts good colour, as stated, as has fine detail in the engraving. It is keenly priced too
