Certainly a very impressive example, this triple mirror gilt overmantle from the early 1800s has just enough reassuring wear over almost two centurys. A couple of minor repairs and that is it. All mirrors are good and have been resilvered or replaced a good number of years ago. All mirrors have a sizeable bevel, adding to the appeal. The detail on the pillars and in the mouldings is highly impressive and in better condition than one might expect for this kind of age. We have yet to give this a clean which will be done in the next 48 hours and it will then be ready for its new home.
