Dutch, Circa 1790 — A superb late 18th century Dutch marquetry sofa table of exceptional quality, presented in showroom condition.

Boasting beautiful walnut, the rectangular top is richly decorated with intricate floral marquetry inlays and fitted with practical drop leaves supported by pull-out slides.

The elegant inlay continues throughout the frieze and down swept legs, united by a finely turned barley twist stretcher for added strength.

Raised on carved lion’s paw feet, this refined piece displays outstanding craftsmanship and patination, making it a striking addition to any period interior.
