Description

A fine quality Victorian flame mahogany chest of drawers, circa 1860.

This elegant mid-19th century piece features a beautifully figured flame mahogany throughout, with rich colour and striking grain patterns across the drawer fronts.

The chest is fitted with two short over three long cockbeaded drawers, with the bottom drawer incorporated into the plinth base.

Each drawer retains turned mahogany handles and offers smooth operation with generous storage space.

The solid mahogany has rounded corners and the chest stands on traditional bun feet.

Presented in good condition, this is a well-crafted and high quality Victorian chest.
