This is a pair of antique nightstands. An English, mahogany sarcophagus top bedside or fireside cabinet, dating to the William IV period and later, circa 1835.

Impressive form and finish, ideal for the grand bedroom or lounge

Distinctive reverse cavetto crown mouldings accentuated with chased lobe borders

Opening to the interior with an upper shelf, set back within the cabinet

Both cabinets replete with inset, brass lined locks — untested, key absent
Distinctive scalloped corners adorn the front edges
Raised upon a deep plinth foot, with bracketed feet to the rear
