This is a vintage icon shelf. A Balinese, carved teak wall sconce or display shelf, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.

Charmingly decorative mounted shelf, with ornate detail
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Enthusiastically carved and pierced teak shows warm biscuit hues
Adorned with a quintet of jovial figures and scrolled leaf motif
In two parts, the shelf tilting up with the support arm folding through 90 degrees for storage
Dressed with a small brass mounting loop for ease of hanging
