A charming sterling silver capstan inkwell dated 1918.
The piece is stamped as originating from the Birmingham locality. The individual makers mark is for that of the quality producer James Deakin & Sons.
In addition to the traditional marks the piece is faintly hand-marked inside the lid with 33/317.
