In wonderful vintage condition, this fabulous chrome ashtray c. 1940 is a delight! - Depicting a reverse painted image of the ship The Capetown Castle set to a butterfly wing it is a rare and special find. Measuring c. 2.3/4" inch diameter, a quality item it will certainly not disappoint!.The Capetown Castle was built in 1938, She was a twin screw passenger cargo liner owned and operated by the now defunct Union Castle Mail Steamship Company Ltd. on the run between South Africa and the UK
