Super period piece from the 1950's era! - A wonderful powder bowl with a mirror to the inside top - measuring c. 4.3/4" inch diameter, it is a top quality piece, heavy and tactile with a cast exterior and a glass liner. Stunning - the top has a beautiful image of a lady very much in the Gainsborough style, absolutely gorgeous! - the ornate box itself is well made and is signed PNCW USA to the base (Progress Novelty Casting Works 1920-1950). Superb condition, this will certainly not disappoint. Originally used as a powder bowl with a puff, it now makes a wonderful trinket and/or jewellery box to pop on one's dressing table.
