Gorgeous! - This adorable Vintage Butterfly Wing (not foil) Powder Compact by Gwenda of England is in lovely condition. Fabulous square shape all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a nice clean interior, the chrome is in very good order, with a nice clear high polish steel mirror - with small round sifter & puff. The top is exquisite the colours bright and vibrant, using morpho blue butterfly wing, depicting a crinoline lady, her beau and the adorable two swans in the bottom right hand corner , the base is black enamel and in very good order. Measuring c. 2.1/4" inch (6.7 cm) square. It is in lovely vintge condition - a beautiful piece that will delight the most discerning of collectors
