Solid Sterling Silver, it is a beautiful example measuring 2.3/4" inch diameter and a wonderful Octagonal shape, all clasps and hinges perfect, opening to reveal a nice clean interior and perfect mirror, fully hallmarked Sterling Silver - assayed in Birmingham 1947 for respected silversmith of the period, this is a top quality piece - iconically Art Deco design to the enamel which is exquisite and very difficult to find in this sort of immaculate condition, it is truly a beautiful piece!.
