A collectors dream! - This fabulous KIGU 'Bon Voyage' powder compact from the "suitcase" range launched in 1956 selling for 33 Shillings and 9d, it has survived in excellent condition, all clasps and hinges are in good order. A gold tone suitcase with an array of travelling decals including New York, Paris, London, Zurich, Rome, Monte Carol, Vienna and the cruise ship Queen Elizabeth. All in lovely condition, it opens to a clear framed mirror an inner opening lid, signed KIGU and Bon Voyage, this opens to reveal a clean and empty powder well (no puff or sifter). A soft felt pouchette and KIGU signed box are included. One of my favourite novelty pieces from KIGU this is a lovely pre-loved example that is sure to delight!
