This is a wonderful souvenir piece. The vintage powder compact depicting Picadilly Circus in London, showing the iconic Bovril & Shweppes advertising signs - c. 1940, it is in excellent condition. The scene is set beneath a clear celluloid cover. Measuring c. 3" inch diameter, all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to a nice clear mirror, a sifter and a puff. Made in Great Britain - Pre-loved, but lovely and will certainly not disappoint!.
