Fabulous and in lovely vintage condition. C. 1930, This is a little beauty using real, genuine, natural Morpho Butterfly wing and not foil it will delight the most discerning of buyers measuring c.3"inch x 2.1/4" it is a lovely shape too. The wonderful reverse painted picture set is gorgeous depicting a thatched cottage sat to a lake with the shimmering effect from the butterfly wing enhancing the image - all set to a lovely cream enamel to the front and back - All clasps and hinges are in good order opening to reveal a clean interior, the framed mirror showing only minor age spots. It has been pre-loved but is overall very good showing only minor signs commensurate with age and light use
