I adore this beautiful and very unusual vintage powder compact by REX, it is in lovely vintage condition, the top is stunning, with a Thomas Gainsborough lady to the top in a beautiful blue & pink rosed bonnet - gorgeous!. Measuring c. 2.3/4" inch dia (7.1 cm) diameter, it is set to a fabulous gilt mesh base, all clasps and hinges are excellent, I doubt it has ever been used. Opening to reveal a high polish steel mirror compartment to the top and a clean powder puff and sifter to the base. Behind the mirror is a rouge compartment, still etched with REX it is in seriously nice order
