Stunning and in superb vintage condition, this is a very nice cigarette case - c.1940/50 made by Stratton of London, it depicts two beautiful white swans amongst the bullrushes - all set to a deep blue almost irridescent enamel top - the base is engine turned - nicely scalloped to the edges - all clasps and hinges are working perfectly and it is in good clean order, I doubt it has had any use at all - a great piece perfect for the handbag adding a little vintage elegance. Measuring c3.3/4" inch (9.6cm) long x 3.1/4" inch (8.3cm) wide, a small black felt pouchette is also present - it would make a beautiful timeless gift for a special smoker this Christmas - elegant and practical don't miss this one.
