This is a stunning vintage powder compact c. 1930's, is glamourous, elegant and in absolutely beautiful condition, encrusted with an array of amethyst coloured faceted cut rhinestone crystals and faux diamonds - Set to a gold tone case with a white enamelling - the lipstick case pulls slightly to one side to open the compact lid - all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a beautifully clear bevelled mirror, an inner opening lid which opens to a signed puff and sifter - made by prolific American compact case maker Kotler & Kopit (K&K) who were manufacturing during the 30's through to the 1950's. This is in lovely condition - the square powder case measuring 2.1/4" inch square, with the lipstick case to the side 2" inch long - the patent number of 1802796 is a 1931 patent. Adorable, this little beauty will delight for sure!.
