This is a beautiful 1920's Musical Powder Compact Bowl - with a hexagon shaped lid, it is enamelled base metal possibly brass and the top has a lovely mirror inset, the powder bowl has an unused sifter and puff - the mechanism is working well and when the top is lifted it plays away nicely. Probably French, A lovely yellow colour enamelling with flower decoration, some minor loss (see pics) but in my opinion does not detract, indeed only adds itegrity to the piece - standing on 3 small brass feet - it measures 3.5" inch tall, the top has a diameter of c. 3.3/4" inch - a beautiful, genuine vintage piece of ladies dressing table vanity ware that will delight the most discerning of buyers!.
