Superb! - Absolutely adorable - this beautiful powder compact, is c. 1930 and is set to a gold tone case enamelled to the top and bottom in black high polish finish, French, it is substantial measuring c. 3" inch x 3.5" inch, it has been carefully protected in its original wrapping and box. The front has a high gloss enamel finish depicting in a golden silhouette form 2 swans amongst the bullrushes - very attractive. All clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a clean ineterior with framed bevelled mirror and a fitted mint condition sifter, I doubt this little beauty has seen the light of day for 70+ years. This is a very nice genuine vintage powder compact that will delight collectors the world over.
