Lavender Hill Antiques

Description

This is a rare & special find, an original Victorian, pair of lorgnettes, c.1890 - still in the form of the Quizzing glass of the mid 1880's - it is spring loaded and neatly opens by a mechanism on the handle - it also has its original tapestry/emroided cover, which is very rare. Measuring just over 4" inch long, they will originally have been an absolute essential accessory, some magnification the glasses are in great antique condition and will not disappoint!.
