Description

This is an unusual vintage powder compact - one side is a beautiful enamelled hand mirror - but turn it over and the powder compact compartment, complete with a 2nd mirror is revealed. Measuring 5" inch long (12.8cm) it has an oval shaped mirror and powder compact which is 2" inch across - beautifully enamelled in a white enamel with an array of hand painted stylised flowers and petals to the top - all clasps and hinges are in good order, there is a fitted powder sifter and it is set to a brass frame - one tiny spot to the hand mirror side (see pics) but does not detract - overall a super, and different collectable compact - difficult to find and sure to delight the most discerning of collectors.
