Description
This is a fine piece - beautifully made - hallmarked to the base for Birmingham 1944 - it is lined in a wonderful deep brown bakelite. With a mid diameter of c4.5" inch, standing c3.5" inch, it is an exquisite piece - fully engine turned to the top, with a ball handle - iconically Art Deco. Originally a powder bowl, it will make a beautiful dressing table piece for popping those special pieces of jewellery into. A fine piece that will not disappoint!.Date1940s :
