Absolutely beautiful! - and a rare colour, deep purple guilloche enamel adorns the top of this adorable Art Deco powder compact - top quality period silver, fully hallmarked for CS Green, respected Birmingham Silversmith, it was assayed in 1922 - measuring 1.3/8" inch diameter, the small link would have been used to attach to a silver chain or chatelaine. The tiny powder puff is enclosed and it is fully gilded to the inside - in the most wonderful of vintage conditions, all clasps and hinges are perfect, opening to reveal a clear convex magnifying mirror and a clean interior - perfect! - not to be missed this little beauty will not disappoint!.
