This is a Stunning & unusual TLM MOTT of England Necklace, in gorgeous vintage condition. 3 Butterfly wing pieces set to silver frames under convex glass covers, adjoined with a lovely decorative piece, beneath which is the most beautiful of Butterfly Wing reverse painted pictures of a paradise scene, set against the deep blue morpho and coloured wing, the colours are exquisite and the condition of the wing immaculate. The sterling silver chain is also marked, Measuring c. 16" inch long - very attractive and sure to delight the most discerning of buyers!

Founded in 1875 and heralded as the company that made butterfly wing jewellery popular when they exhibited at the British Empire Exhibition of 1924. TLM acquired the Henry W. King Co. in 1925 and Owen Brothers Co. in 1933 and became the largest producer of butterfly wing jewellery of the era. Then at some point the Thomas L Mott Company was purchased by Shiptons LTD of London
