Description

This is a beautiful powder compact - unusual, it has a super picture of fishermen and their boats in a harbour, all set beneath a high polish enamel finish - all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a square inside, with a framed mirror which is nice and clear and an original fitted sifter and puff, the pouchette is also present - measuring c. 3" inch square, dating c. 30/40 it is possibly French - in good vintage order it will not disappoint!.
