Gorgeous, and in very nice vintage condition, this beautiful hand painted powder compact is painted on a pearlised backing, with a clear plastic protective covering - set to a Chrome base, it is signed Marie England - measuring c. 2.1/4" inch square, all clasps and hinges are in good order opening to reveal a nice clean interior and fitted round mirror - the original sifter is present as is a small puff - a lovely piece, that I have not seen before and will surely delight to collectors the world over.
