This is a beautiful and unusual piece, in the gorgeous vintage condition. A fabulous silver bar brooch with a convex glass cover, beneath which is the most beautiful of Butterfly Wing reverse painted pictures, set against the deep blue morpho and coloured wing to the dress. Often attributed to TLM Mott of England, it is set to Sterling Silver but appears to be signed TH - Exquisite detailing to the picture the colours are beautiful. Appropriately marked, Gorgeous and this is in the best of conditions - very attractive and sure to delight the most discerning of buyers!
