This is a beautiful and much sought after picture butterfly wing silver brooch - depicting a fine Crinoline Lady in a large hat - adorable. The oval shaped silver brooch measures c. 1.2" inch (2.7) across. Often attributed to TLM Mott of England, it is set to Sterling Silver - Exquisite detailing to the picture the colours are beautiful reverse painted to the wing and set beneath a clear, slightly convex glass cover. Now becoming so hard to find in this sort of lovely condition - it is very attractive and sure to delight the most discerning of buyers!
