Very early 1920's piece - Richard Hudnut patented design 75281 - Octagonal in shape and iconically art deco, it is a very nice piece. The internal mirror, is also hinged fitting perfectly to the small rouge pot - the top is embossed with a pale green enamel design, stepped in shape with an almost spider web engine turning to the base - with its original octagonal shaped puffs (very rare!) and box, all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal an octagonal framed mirror and a nice clean interior. Measuring c. 2" inch diameter - At nearly 100 years old, this little beauty has survived very well in its original fitted box. Pre-loved, showing minor signs commensurate with light use and age, but overall lovely and will make a great addition to any compact collection.
