Superb and in excellent vintage condition, this beautiful Art Deco powder compact is just gorgeous - Dating c. 1920/30's with a stunning deep morpho blue foil immitating butterfly wings set behind a reverse painted lid - all in lovely order, the base is black enamel, all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a nice clear, chrome internal, with a chrome edged fitted sifter and a framed bevelled mirror. Measuring c. 2.5" inch square it is marked "foreign" indicating it is a mid war piece - very pretty this will not disappoint! - difficult to find in this sort of lovely order - don't miss it!.
