Superb and in immaculate condition, this beautiful Art Deco powder bowl complete with a very soft, silk ribboned puff is just gorgeous - Dating c. 1920/30's with a stunning deep royal blue fine enamel top with a small lift handle to the centre - the geometric pattern to the guilloche enamel is exquisite and in fabulous order - the top is set to chrome, which does show minor signs commensurate with age, but does not detract in any way whatsoever, the top measures c. 3.5" inch (8.9cm) dia and sits to a beautiful cut glass design bowl - very nice, standing c. 2" inch tall - originally these lovely powder bowls would have been filled with delicate smelling powder for puffing to one's faceor body, now I think they are perfect for popping cotton wool balls into, or even for little bits of jewellery on the dressing table - very pretty this will not disappoint! - difficult to find in this sort of lovely order - don't miss it!.
