Description

Super vintage powder in an unusual, novelty shape of an envelope purse, continental silver, it is marked for silver in a couple of places, meauring c. 3.1/8" inch (7.9 cm) x 2.5" inch (6.2cm). The front is gorgeous, brushed silver, engine turned and etched, to a quilted pattern, with a red inset glass stone which acts as the clasp, the front is neatly turned slightly giving a "real" feel and alternative dimension. When the clasp is open, it is spring loaded to reveal a nice clear, framed and bevelled miorr, a fitted sifter, which appears totally unused is present. With a good heavy weight, this is a quality piece in the nicest of vintage condtion - an unusual addition to any collection - don't miss it! -
