In exquisite condition, this beautiful Art Deco piece by Gwenda of England is a delight! - Using the foil and reverse painted technique to create a butterfly wing effect, this has survived in the best of order. Depicting a beautiful young lady dressed in a lemon crinoline dress and holding a basket bouquet of floers - Enamelled to the back in black, all clasps and hinges are in good order, openiing to reveal a lovely clean chrome interior with a high polish mirror, perfect sifter and puff. It's as good a condition as I have seen for Gwenda pieces with only the teeniest of marks to the base (see pics). A nice shape measuring c. 2.5" inch long x 2" - delightful, this little beauty will not disappoint the most discerning of collectors.
