A late Victorian silver desk bell, nice and clearly, fully hallmarked in a number of places for Birmingham 1897 - Samuel Walton Smith - with a clockwork style mechanism the bell is clear to ring - it is beautifully pierced with fliate decoration. Exquisitely made and in the finest of order, this is a high quality piece of Victorian silver with a super weight - Standing c. 2.5" inch tall with a base diameter of 3.3/4"inch. A very similar example can be seen in Blenheim Palace. This is a beautiful piece that will delight the most discerning of buyers!.
