In absolutely gorgeous vintage condition, this beautiful fully enamelled powder compact & rouge duo is just a delight! The top is beautifully with a deep white guilloche enamel hand painted with roses, the edges and base in a deep black and white contrasting enamel all of which is in very good condition. The detail includes an enamel clasp to the front - this is a top quality piece - Dating c. 1940 - Measuring c. 2.5" inch square, all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a nicel clean interior and a period bevelled mirror (which is clear but does show very minor signs commensurate with age, but does not detract) , with a small rouge pot and larger powder well beneath inner opening lids. All in all a stunning quality vintage piece in a condition that will not disappoint and will make a fine addition to any discerning buyer's collection !
