Description

A fine watercolour signed St Olaves Church Marygate York by Tom Dudley 1857-1935.
He trained as an architect and then took lessons from W J Boddy a York artist.

Exhibited 1889-92 Including Birmingham RSA, Manchester Art Gallery, York, examples in the VAM and Ferens AG Hull. The painting is still sealed in original frame with remains of a paper label 'very good wishes from The Churchwardens of St. Olaves 1914'
