Description

A very rare Confederate Pinfire Civil War Scarce LeMat Carbine, less than 200 of these carbines were produced and even less in pinfire some very limited numbers. It features a percussion barrel underneath that acts as a shotgun. Colonel LeMat manufactured his famous gun in Belgium to help with the Confederate war effort, his design was iconic, complicated and expensive to produce but went down in history as one of the most famous guns of the american civil war. This carbine is a very hard to obtain example of amazing period engineering

This is a pinfire and a percussion example and therefore comes under Section 58 and is allowed to be owned by anyone over 18 as a collectors piece
