The Carlton Ware Kids were originally planned for release in the 1940s but were never issued due to wartime restrictions. Under the new ownership after 1997, these moulds were brought into production for the first time, with five small figurines forming the first releases. These were Bride, Groom, Airman, Sailor and Nurse. Subsequently, a few different characters were newly modelled by Tony Cartlidge and brought to life by Bairstow Manor, though production was taken on by Carlton Ware and backstamped accordingly.

This is the figure of the Groom from the first releases and was done as a limited edition of 5000. The figure is stamped on the base, measure approximately 10cm and is in really good condition with no damage or restoration.
