Oil on board of possibly a Scottish Gamekeeper out on the Moors with his horse and dogs.The painting is the work of a very competent artist, there is a signature, unfortunately illegible.The painting is fresh and the colours true, no paint chips or damage. the scene is very appealing with a nice end of the day feeling.The frame is probably original with a few scuffs one would expect in something of this age.DateLate Victorian :
