Oil on board by the British artist Gilbert Gee (Signed).Gilbert Gee is known to have lived in Four Oaks Birmingham at 45 Worcester Lane he exhibited three works at The Royal Society of Artists Birmingham circa 1940.Gilbert Gee's paintings are vibrant and bright his use of light and colour is an echo of the St Ives School of Artists. Gee painted in Devon and Cornwall also many scenes from his native Staffordshire.DateMid 20th Century :
