Description

Oil on Artists board by the British artist Dennis Gilbert entitled "On the Thames" Until 1986 Gilbert was a senior lecturer at Chelsea School of Art.He now paints full time. He lives and works in Chelsea where he has his studio.He has had many Exhibitions including The Royal Academy,Paris Salon,New English Art Club,Royal Festival Hall, Royal Society of Portrait Painters,Royal Society of British Artists,Royal Institute of Oil Painters The Medici Gallery and The Turin International Exhibition of Drawings plus many more.His works are included in many foreign collections.
