Watercolour on paper by Charles Frederick Allbon 1856-1926.signed and dated 1898 enscribed Near Colchester.Rural wooded landscape with village,figures,sheep and stream.Allbon studied at the Croyden School of Art from 1870,and lived at Crouch End,Essex. Moving to London in 1887.Painting in Watercolour he specialised in Landscapes,harbour and coastal scenes. Exhibited 1874-1892 Royal Society of Painters-Etchers and Engravers. Suffolk Street and the Royal Academy.DateLate 19th Century :
