A beautifull Oil on canvas by the artist Raimondo Scoppa 1820 - 1890 signed and dated 1883.The colours are fresh and clean and at sometime during its life has been relined.The painting is i think of Northern Italy showing a house in the Mountains with figures and hens all in a splendid Landscape.The observations and detail in this painting are quite superb.
