Silver & Tortoiseshell Glass Scent Bottle, 1901
Description
This fabulous and very unusual Edwardian silver mounted Art Glass scent bottle bears the marks of Arthur Fenwick and is dated Birmingham 1901. The squat baluster glass body imitating tortoiseshell. The neck fitted with a decorative embossed silver hinged lid dated Birmingham 1901. The inner lid gilt and the neck with the original glass stopper.Hallmarks:
A.F for Arthur Fenwick.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant .
Date letter "b" for 1901.

Height: 11 cm / 4.5 inches.
Diameter: 8.5cm / 3.3 inches.
